Check Out These Aspiring Entrepreneurs!
My name is Orion Cantley. I am seven years old and I live in Jefferson, WI. I love school, but when I'm not there I have a lot of hobbies that I like to do with my dad and my brother. My brother's name is Hunter and he is five years old. He was too shy to join us in our video. We like to play outside as much as we can and recently got into hockey. I would love to win a claw machine because it is something I can do with my dad and my brother. It will teach the three of us about entrepreneurship. It will build my communication skills while teaching me the importance of networking. It will help me learn how to manage money while teaching me the importance of following through on things and keeping my word.
If we are chosen by Y.E.O.W., we will dedicate a minimum of 5% of our profits from the machine to Y.E.O.W., providing further funding towards this awesome program that allows kids to become entrepreneurs.
Thanks for your time and consideration!
Sincerely,
Orion Cantley
My name is Leah Pruitt. I live in Indiana. I am 14 years old. I would like to be chosen because I love the idea of starting a business of my own.I would also enjoy seeing the look on kids faces when they win a toy from my claw machine and the absolute joy and happiness they get from it. Not only do I have a passion for giving joy to others, I also would love to get a claw machine because they have such good value and can be a good start in a financial future. Not only could it create a start of a financial future it can boost the responsibility given required to take care of a claw machine. Claw machines require attention and care. I would love to learn more about claw machines than I already have.I think claw machines are a good start to an independent source of income and how to deal with the finances and
First reason I think I would be a good candidate for the claw machine is because of the joy it brings to peoples faces when they get a prize. It brings me absolute happiness and satisfaction of making people's day better in a possible time of need. The opportunity to bring joy to others with just a simple little toy makes me so happy it's indescribable.
Furthermore to my passion, I think I have the necessary skills to make me a successful claw machine owner. I know how to fix minor things on a claw machine. Because my older brother owned a few claw machines until he sold them and he let me help him fix them a couple of times and he said he is willing to help me if I ever need it. I know what types of toys people like better only because of what toys sold better in his claw machines,I even know the cost of simple things that could go wrong with a claw machine like spare parts and little stuff like extra claws and power supplies.
Finally if I get chosen for the Y.E.O.W claw machine, giving it away will bring me immense joy and happiness ! My genuine joy for making people happier would be alot easier if I had a claw machine because people that I don't even know will get to be happier just by playing a game I put there. Also a chance for me to create memories and get experience by owning my own claw machine would mean so much to me In my young life.
Hello my name is Logan Boddy and I am 10 years old and my sister Kelsey Boddy is 8. We are the two oldest of five kids and Kelsey is the only girl. We live in North Pole Alaska and we love to go sledding and ride our four wheelers even in the snow. It has been snowing for a few days and my dad says we got over ten inches of new snow. I love math and am good with numbers and Kelsey is really neat and organized and together we think we can run a good business. We love to swim and we were just down in Arizona to spend time with family and we miss the sun and swimming in the pool. Where we live it gets dark at 2:30 pm and the sun doesn't come up until almost 11AM so it's dark a lot. If we won the claw machine it would give us something fun to focus on in the winter outside of school. I do love Lego and have come up with some of my own builds, mostly gunships like in star wars and transporters for my battle droids. I think Lego sets would be an awesome prize for the prize lockers and even blind bags for mini figures could fit in the claw as prizes. Kelsey loves looking at all of the awesome prizes that could go in the machines.
Our mom says she has been looking around and has not seen any mini claw machines yet so we could be the first with them in our area.
Thank you for the chance to win this claw machine, good luck to all the young entrepreneurs and merry Christmas from the Boddy family.
Hi!
My name is Maxwell White, I am 17 years old. I live in Northern Colorado. I work part time at a climbing gym, and spend all my free time rock climbing with my girlfriend. I would love to be considered for the YEOW giveaway, as I believe I am a smart and capable person who can turn this opportunity into a career. I have always been entrepreneurial. I’ve tried selling candy at school, reselling shoes and legos, and, hopefully next, starting my own amusement vending business.
I have saved up allowances and money from my job for the last year and I’m almost able to purchase the claw I want, however a second machine would be incredibly beneficial. I already have a location picked out, my uncle owns a Mexican restaurant near me.
I was diagnosed with autism when I was 9, but I think it helps me more than it hinders me. Because of it, I’m very good at math, and I love doing work with my hands. I think these attributes will help me be a great route operator. My skills at math will help me keep track of profits and product. I also have a ton of experience fixing things, whether it be electronic or mechanical.
I have also always been obsessed with claw machines and other arcade games. I remember my first win out of a claw machine (it was a panda plush at a Golden Corral when I was 6 or 7) and the joy that it brought me. I’d love to help bring that joy to other people. I truly love arcade games and want to open up my own arcade in the future.
Thank you so so much for this opportunity. It is such a cool idea. Good luck to the other applicants!
Hi my name is Lucas Miller I am 11 years old and I have 5 bulk machines and I am looking to get my first claw machine! I don't make a lot of money from my bulk machines so I want to expand to a claw machine. I started my business when I was 10 and I would love to have a claw machine! Thank you guys.
Hello! My name is Jonathan Juarez from Illinois and for years now I always wanted a claw machine ever since I was little. I am 15 years old and I am an aspiring Realtor. I am very shy when talking to new people which as you can see it is a problem with real estate, it is my passion to pursue it. I don't ever plan on quitting. And with a claw machine it will force me to talk to actual business owners in order to put my machines in their locations which will develop me into being better in negotiations. Speaking of locations I plan on my first location to be in my very own high school! Because I am able to manage and over see it a lot during my lunch break and it does not work out I have another location nearby in walking distance. Once I am able to drive my dad would give me his truck which can help me transport my machines and I hope to repay him one day. There are many people on "YEOW" who deserve to win way more than I do. But giving this a shot won't hurt right? Have you ever seen a kid lose over and over on a claw machine. So you decide to play and you win the plush they were trying to get? And you decide to give it to them? That one act of kindness can bring them so much joy and seeing their smile on their face makes me happy knowing that them playing the machine led to a memory. I recently had made a Fnaf cosplay which is something I wanted to make for years but never knew how. But with hard work I was able to get it done - I made Lolbit by the way. With my cosplay everyone was impressed and I was over joyed with the outcome. During halloween kids came up to me to give me high fives and I was able to sense their joy seeing a character from one of their favorite games in real life. Sorry if I am all over the place - Just so you know. But going back to when I talked about a kid losing. That brought up some other topic about Claw Machines they have a bad reputation about being a scam and that they are all rigged. I too dislike rigged claw machines it takes away all of the fun in playing them. And if I had my own machine I hope to make it fair play and more skilled. And of course I still want profit but I just don't want to get greedy because if I were to think about the people playing my machine and getting disappointing in its unfairness I could not live with my self if I cheat people out of their extra change. Because I too want a challenge. It also breaks my heart whenever I see a vandelised Claw Machine. Every time I see a claw machine I just want to play it atleast twice because I love em, even if I don't win anything the experience is enough for me to be happy just as long as they are not rigged to the point where winning is impossible. Having my own claw? I can see it now I can envision it and already adore it. I'ma go back a little and talk about being my own boss. With the skills that I am able to learn with being a claw machine or plural owner it can be used to pursue my career in house flipping and being a real estate agent. With flipping I have to make my own decisions, take risks, negotiate deals, being my own boss. Same with being a real estate agent, I would have to convince business owners that not only having my machine in their business would help me out but also them and that it is worth it. I've learned so much by being in the Xtreme Vending discord. I even saw a mini claw for the first time. Odly enough I did not like those claws but that was because it was a newer concept to me because those are never seen from where I live in Illinois. I like to have big machines and medium sized prizes and having the machine be harder to tilt over. But after spending time in this server I've seen people post about their minis and now seeing them more clearly I adore them now. There is another type machine I don't like but who knows I may be able to open up to it as time goes. The claw I am referring to is just the claw itself. The Candy claw, don't get me wrong I don't hate them, I love all claws but it has to do with me. I personally am not a fan for candy and seeing candy in a machine does not really peak my interest, like who knows if they are smushed or old. But yet again this is just my personality and maybe in the future I can get to love them as well as I do to any other claw. And of course I know candy claws aren't just used for candy which I like. The reason why I brought up these was because I did not like the Minis but now I truly do. I may not like all types of vending like bulks but whenever I think of a claw machine I get too over my head. Speaking of other types of vending I like vending machines aswell, because even if you are in a store that has no food or drinks a vending machine can be your saving grace. As I get older I hope my instant disaproval of things will change and to give everything a shot. Not only winning the machine me important to me but having guidance is a big help, having another set of eyes can really help my indecisiveness or questions. I am just a high school student and care about my grades so much more than anyone. I am a bit worried about the future but that is only because I did not plan it out. There was a gap between high school and college and it was about money. After playing a claw machine my love for them came back like a tsunami, and being in the discord my admoration for Claws grew. I now knew what the gap was gonna be. I am willing to do whatever it takes to succeed, once I am successful enough I can make a huge impact, not only giving my self joy but to others as well. I hope to one day retire my parents so they would never have to work anymore and that I can take good care of them just like how they did to me. And it can all start here with a claw machine. My ambitions are big, even I know my own limits. But this seems like it will be reality, even if I don't win, no worries I am still gonna keep working until I can get my first claw machine. Thank you for your time in reading this and if I don't win I just ask for 1 thing... Wish me Luck!
Hi my name is Kailani and I am 9 years old until March 28th and in 4th grade. I love Cheerleading and Jiu-Jitsu and I have my own business making Perler bead designs. I help my dad with his claw machines and even got him a really good location on my own so I know I can get a claw machine of my own in a business and I want to put my Perler beads in it, croc charms and pop its for kids to win. Helping my dad has really taught me how to know percentages and fix machines. Having a claw machine of my very own can really help me boost up my business and I have already been told that I can make youtube videos of me and the claw machine when I take care of it. Thank you for this opportunity to win a claw machine of my very own YEOW and CandyMachines.com
My name is Ivy and I am 10 years old. I want a claw machine because it could help me get money to buy things for my dog (once we decide which one to adopt). I would also save some of it and donate some to animal shelters because I feel bad for the animals. In the past, I have made money by walking dogs and selling earrings, but this seems like a lot more fun. I would enjoy picking out the prizes to put in the machine. Thank you!
Hello,
My name is Ada. I am 8 years old, I live in Alabama with my family. We are a military family so we move around a lot. But it gives us a chance to try new things, like starting a mini-claw machine business. I have helped by choosing which toys to order and our logo for a t-shirt. I look for plushies at stores and go with my mom to talk to restaurants. I would like my own claw machine to have my own business, I think it's a good way for me to earn money.
Hi,
my name is Chad Levin, and I am a 15 year old from south florida. In advance, I am sorry for the long email, but I want to tell the story of how I got to where I am today. About 2 years ago I began my first business, I sold candy at school. A lot of people did this at my school, and I knew it was going to be difficult to compete, but I took up the challenge. I saw how other candy sellers treated their businesses and it made me think. All the other sellers would not sell every day, they wouldn't keep their bags full, and they really lacked care. I began treating my school candy business like a real business, making spreadsheets, analysing my profit margins and seeing what I should and shouldn't sell, breaking down my profits and losses each month, and looking for trends in what sells, and if there are some days that do better than others. I eventually began to see that my efforts were paying off, people were realising that I was more reliable than others and I eventually became the top of the market, everyone bought candy from me. I couldn't go a day without selling out my entire bag, so I began to bring other people in to work with me. I got 4 of my friends to sell candy for me, I offered them 50% of profit for what they sold and they agreed. I even expanded into different markets, hiring more people, and having them sell specialty items, like big bags of chips, or fresh-baked cookies. At my peak, everyone knew me as the snack guy, and I even ran everyone else off of the market. I was Making a gross revenue of around $900 a week! Taking into account all of my expenses I was making around $200-300 profit for myself. I knew this wouldn't last however, so before I could spend the money I was making, I invested in some full line vending machines. I saw youtubers online who owned vending machines and thought, this is a scalable business that I can start with little investment, so I bought them, and moved them to their location. Eventually, my school candy business was getting noticed by administration, so I cut it off while I could. After this, I put all my energy previously in the candy, into the vending machines. I watched hours of youtube videos, I read pages of information from Vendiscuss, and I also began to work on some vending machines that I received for free. I took an interest in the electrical systems of the vending machine, and this motivated me to join the engineering academy at my school. With the help of what I learned in this academy, I was able to fix the machines I got for free (one snack, and one drink) and I put them on location! This made me excited, and I began to focus even more on my business. While watching youtube, I stumbled across QuikPlay, And GalaxyGamer843. This showed me the other types of vending, such as amusement machines. This eventually led me to XtremeVending's discord, where I found YEOW. You may think, well why do you deserve a free machine? I've analyzed my local area, and I have found a gap in the market. There are tons of vending machine businesses, but no amusement businesses! Mini claw machines are completely nonexistent in my area. Utilizing what I learned from my two business ventures, I believe I can take control of the claw machine market and make my community happy. Of course, the biggest struggle in starting a business is the initial investment, and as I no longer have my candy business, the money will take a long time to build up. But with YEOW, that may not be an issue. I believe with my skills, my prior knowledge, and help from YEOW, I can jumpstart my career at the ripe old age of 15! After I receive this help from YEOW, I will go straight to location hunting, and finding the most profitable location in my area. Using the profits from that machine, I will reinvest into more machines, until I have enough to cover my city. After I have this, I hope to help others reach my goal, just as YEOW is helping me. This is why I believe I am fit for this opportunity, and I hope you do too.
Hi my name is samara hamam and I have always wanted to own a claw machine. This opportunity with the YEOW raffle may help me realize this dream of mine. I have always wanted to own a claw machine business because I love plushies, I love talking to people and I love claw machines! Every time I ever have seen a claw machine I always have to hide my wallet from myself, Otherwise I would spend all my money! A free machine through candy machines.com and the YEOW organization could help me make some money on the side with little investment. This is one of my lifelong dreams, and I truly hope I win. I wish everyone else good luck, and hope we can all meet at a NVBA conference one day!
Hi!
I am Shea Weber, I am 7 years old and live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I play soccer, I love hockey, and I want to be an Oceanographer when I grow up. Until then, my Dad, Jon, and I are starting a candy vending business. It will be called Happy Face Vending. Our goal is to provide #1 Customer Service so we can build a vending empire. From this, I plan to build my retirement. My Dad will be helping me with the business. We dont know anyone who does vending, and the YouTube vending community are the best resources we could have hoped for. Jonathan Howard's children inspired us, and here we are with a plan and high hopes! This contest is a great opportunity for us kids to experience business for ourselves. I want to wish everyone Good Luck! Thank you for this opportunity!
Hi!
I am Ryan Graves, I would love to be chosen for a free machine to help kickstart my business and hopefully make my future full time job. A little bit about myself is I Absolutely love the Idea of passive income and being my own boss. I have always been on the grind to making money from mowing lawns to washing windows to curb painting and many more. Ever since I came across The vending business I have just been in awe of the money you can make with minimal effort. My plans for the future are to invest in mini claw machines and build up a little empire and then go on my mission and have my mom and my sisters take care of them while I'm gone. After that I should have some money to give college a shot. As I go through college I will plan on staying in college to get a degree in physical therapy or leave to endure the vending business. I mostly plan on sticking to vending machines though. Anyways I think the YEOW thing is really cool And it would be super helpful if i am chosen. Thanks so much!!
